background story:
we attended this wedding dinner, whereby most of the aunties and jie jie was my mom's clients
then my mom was so happy that she kept pointing

there! that auntie! i made that dress for her
there! that auntie also.
so most of the night i was saying HI to all the different aunties. and my mom was pointing to almost everyone.
LOL.
** at the same time, i bet my mom made a lot of $$ from all these aunties. **

haha. but this was a different kind of wedding dinner

a choir with no name.

it is super cool and weird to sing after a long hiatus. hoho
i am referring to the audition that took place today
haha. it was quite cartoon to see how he tries to avoid the big A word*Audition*
we call it the "get to know your voice better session"
and yeah. got into alto 2.

and yes. i was dumb enough not to warm up before i went -.-
he was totally testing my high range
i forgot what note was that. But it sounded like a________ shut up jesslyn sound. LOL

that’s bad. super airy...

whatever la. but he gave my some tips and =D

sounded ehhhh.. not bad la. HAHA!** drop your jaw**-- too nervous to remember what Mr liew taught me and I was too rusty. ( still dare to say -.- )

but he still place me in Alto 2 ( for the meantime) because I sounded more comfortable there. ( duh! ) :D


back to the AGM meeting

this choir has around 60 members started by this guy named eng chong aka Jacob seet. He set up this fb group for those who were once taught by TT **around 2 years ago** And that’s how this choir came about. So TT was actually kena sabo-ed by him. But after the whole process, he (TT) wanted to create a community choir specially for people like us who wants to sing but doesn’t have the chance to do so anymore, and to spread messages via music. Eg: SAVING GAIA. Sorry. It doesn’t sound inspiring here, but it was damn cool and he has such big ambition for us, we are going to have a concert at the end of this year. And we are going to do GLEE!!!—light hearted music as well as those where you might want to listen to before you contemplate to jump.*squeeze every ounce of your emotions out and you will cry your heart out*
haha. Ah ya. Non-choir people don’t understand de la.
But the bad thing about this choir, is that people don’t mingle, the host school aka pjc. They got their alumni choir members to come down, but didn’t make people like us feel welcomed. They were in their own LALA world, * they were really singing all the way** haha. Actually I also didn’t make the effort to go make friends.
FYI, this choir mainly comprises of people from PJC alumni, NYJC choir, ex-Anglican high school people, and various others whom I didn’t know where they were from. Btw my group of people is the WYCF de lor. Yay!
Can’t wait for the next practice session!! Hopefully to see more familiar faces =D

there is still unity's year end concert tho :) i want to go for both! yay!!! choir FTW.
