u reap what u sow.

Have you ever had a conversation where u felt like
" THERE, I'VE FINALLY SAID IT. "

the hour long conversation with poh was truly needed, for there were many matters weighing on my mind. * mentoring in particular *
I was glad that the process was natural because it seems like unloading the "burden" into the incinerator.
For now, I pity those who have to face the music ( and suffer in the depths of hell ), for i also had my thought process sorted out. and am back for more.

karma is a bitch.

on a separate note:
I am glad that have both let go and have found like- minded people.
people whom we can feel at ease with and relate to, without the hindrance of the other parties' values.
Just stay safe, and I hope this is what u had wish for.

last matter:
it was just 12hours ( approx 7.30am ) that i told my mom about the dinner and dance.
and she managed to magically made a made-to-measure dress specifically for this event ( retro theme ) and we are going for shopping tmr ( Y )

remember to count your blessing lovelies ! (:

comfort zone

Living in a comfort zone is dangerous, and it turns u into an uninteresting person being fed by other ppl's opinion. Broaden the topics of things u read and learn to have your own opinion.

i do not concur! *updates later if i have time* but givemesomethingtoread.com is definitely worth a read. so do try :DD

mammal diving reflex

Do u know...

It's possible for humans to stay underwater for 6mins??

When I saw that on Guinness world records, I thought the record holder had an extra lung or sth.

Now, after a random read up.

Dolphins, like humans are mammals. Hence, if they are able to stay underwater, we should somehow have this 'function' too right? so ta da!! Mammal diving reflex. Being able to stay underwater for a longer period of time without the use of oxygen tanks. A Special technique of breathing was used to activate that function ( and lots of training).cool right??

Real life mermaid!! Being able to touch and immerse with the underwater eco system, without any disturbance from bubbles.

Total blend in!! Mermaids ftw!

Ok. I wanna try SNORKLING one day.

Haha. And an (most likely futile)attempt see Ariel!! :)

i am afraid of uncertainty
and it leads to a downward spiral of personal relationships
and total self destruction.

currently at MAM

heh. i have to be discrete and cautious writing about my particular internship experience at one of the company agencies so far.

life long skills learnt at MAM
i am encountering difficulty of NOT being SOCIALLY AWKWARD with my colleagues, with that being said, i need to start improving my interpersonal skills. Having a weak command in business english and vivid "weird" expressions on my faces certainly doesnt help.
at the same time, i cant seem to remember what my thought process was, and hence facing more difficulties in explaining my difficulty comprehending the task given. my colleagues are really helpful and polite tho, offering snacks and assistance to this clueless intern, which made me feel more of a hindrance than an assistance. bahhhh. apart from talking about MEMEME, i have the dying need to explain what my department does * really cool*

I have been assigned to this department---National Human Resource Division ( NHRD ) . which does its very best to make Singapore a global exemplary in human resource capital, by attracting and retaining talents.
all DHRMP student should be aware that all of our textbooks are written by angmors. this results in a more american context ( information and case studies used ), however, having so much demographic and cultural differences as compared to them. how could one rely on these textbooks to study about ASIANS. ( ASIAN :DDD )We take up 60% of the world's population ( 4 billion people ). so yup, here we are taking baby steps by inviting business leaders and etc, to come to Singapore to discuss about HR and leadership issues in the Asian context. and hence, having a (i)transfer of knowledge to distinguished guests, (ii)atas networking session with various biz leader around the world, (iii) establishing singapore as a hub for more of such prestigious and cool events.
sooooooooooooo... we still need to go about undertaking research to support our actions.

ok. so i am held up with 2 projects currently * another 1 coming in on Friday *
1. the "Mooooooooooooooo" project * RM related*
i need to conduct a research on the Moooooooo kingdom, being a causeway away from us. we need to find out what our counterparts are doing and hence (i) building up a competitive advantage, (ii) discovering areas for collaborations.
2. i am tired of typing. cause i need to go back and continue on WORK. toodles!

year2sem2term2

pardon me for any weird phrasing and all. it's late. need sleep. NOW.

HRC which stands for HR competition. this could probably be my last HR competition that i am taking part in, partly due to the fact that i will be away in CHEENA!

well, i have learnt a lot.
scripting wise, it pays to read. my angmor cui. LOL.
Kudos to mentor ( Ms Jean ), the script was beautifully scripted that it seemed like TIMES-MAGAZINE- MATERIAL. it had omph, and it really enhanced the entire presentation with her wise selection of words and phrasing.
i guess, i really have to read A LOT MORE!

Good morning ladies and gentlemen...
judges and teachers.
besides that, i guess i really am turtle-ish
me having to strive for self improvement, admit the fact that i am not as quick witted as the others and probably over relying on them. *plain lazy* without any form of natural ability to absorb like a sponge, "it doesnt pay to be a sloth".
if one were to be stranded away from them, what would it take to strive for survival?
- newly added "new year resolution" - dont be such a lazy pig.
having said that, we have been through a turbulence period of endless project deadlines and exams. however, ALL BAD THINGS WILL COME TO AN END. - quoted by prof yim.

we have come to the last day of year2sem2term2! - 27.02.2012
one of my favourite days of 2012.
trekking for 12KM. and having a variety of desserts to feast on, museums to hop to, breath taking view of the CBD area and to end it off with soup spoon.. it was pretty much one of a kind experience. plus, the fact that the holidays are here and with great company and me HIGH! laughing without a care in the world.

and just 3 days later, we met up again for a birthday surprise @ PP.
celebrating
weini's
kexin's
*not our birthdays yet*

meh.
celebrating. their 19th birthday :DDD
mission accomplished!
