bahhhhh i am a sheep

i needed to thank yisheng for awaking the Jesslyn in me * which i already did *

the jesslyn that was ONCE decisive, demanding and confident.

well, i believed that it is hidden somewhere deep deep inside me with the initial thought that my previous behaviour was uncouth as a result i chose to conceal that part of me and locked them away in faraway land.

as a matter of fact, i was being too conceited of myself, assuming that it would only happen when during casual conversations. * the idea is not to ASSUME * however, this mindset of mine already infiltrated my sub-consciousness and gained total control of how i managed things. including major projects, meetings, interviews and any other possible major thing that could aid me for a possible easier and higher self satisfaction life. -.- * big reason for the decrease in confidence *

reminiscing the good ol' days , leading the group to a successful battle, attaining satisfying results. who would have thought that the present was a total opposite? instead of being the head of the pack, i became the assistant sheep who pretended to know * in denial/ act smart * where she's going.

i have lost myself in my poly years and now it's time to awake the sleeping dragon in me. * rawr *

partner- Hilary is one pleasant person to work with although annabell's absence still makes me a little emotional.

ok. i have been caught up with the politics in school, not that i am apathetic about the politics in s'pore

though i couldn't really hear what the parties were saying because my parents were taking turns to comment

but i was actually more concern with the delivery of their speeches

not saying that the content isn't impt, but the fact that i really couldnt hear what they were saying.

i really need to brush up on my public speaking skills

let's make this clear

public speaking=presentation=interview=lecture=debrief ( all the same )

yes, i am still harping on the interviews and the multiple failed attempts of all the things that was stated above.

i failed to

1.convey my thoughts

2.think * the wires in my brain were temporary hay wired *

i remembered during the SB interview

1. my nerves system broke down at that moment

2. i wasnt prepared for their questions

3. i was too awesome that i had endless good qualities but at loss at which to say

4. i ended up giving a shitty answer

i wanted to bang myself against a wall or sth

right.

and with mentoring

for those who dont know

we actually take turns to give out instructions or do the debrief

take turns, i mean it's either annabell or silin

LOL

but on some rare occasions, when i usually take it, it ends up a flop -.-

( i have no idea why i took up the job?!! )

and annabell has to come up and save me from the epic awkwardness

which i am extremely thankful for

until this recent one, where i had the debrief scripted

that includes all the thinking process and the expected response.

really disappointed with myself.

yesterday was the poly forum interview

i became utterly disappointed myself.

for not phrasing my words properly and blabbered utter rubbish just to scrap through the interview

the rest of the interviewees did well tho

and my points were in a mess

i didnt have a time to think through

i wasnt even thinking i think?

...

well, since i have been writing argumentative essays

i guess i have come up with a TEMPORARY 'solution'
